Each fluted dome with gadrooned rim, with detachable oak leaf, acorn and branch handle, engraved on one side with a crest and on the other with a coat-of arms, marked inside and on finial

The arms are those of Borrows impaling Madden, for Robert Borrows (d.1850) of Gilltown, co. Kildare and his wife Charlotte, daughter of S. Madden of Hilton, co. Monaghan, whom he married in 1804. (2)
