A pair of silver-gilt, plique-à-jour and cloisonné enamel goblets
marked with initials JA probably for Johan Allenius, indistinct mark probably St. Petersburg, circa 1815
Circular, each on spreading base with turquoise and blue rims, with stylized floral borders on stippled ground, the baluster stem similarly decorated, with further geometric and stylized designs and pellet borders beneath the bowl, the cylindrical sides with plique-à-jour birds and butterflies between cloisonné rosettes, with light and dark blue rim above, each marked on foot
