A RARE CLOISONNE ENAMEL LEYS JAR
QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY

The cylindrical vessel with tapering sides, decorated with a dense pattern of descending bats, each bearing a Wan symbol suspending tassels, detailed with Shou characters, variously alternating with Indian lotus blooms, the broad horizontal mouth rim similarly decorated, all against a turquoise-ground, the base bearing the hallmark, Tongshun Tang, 'Hall of Togetherness', on a ground of floral scrollwork
