Victor Demarquoy was a craftsman employed by the Maeght family to assist artists such as Jean Miro, Alexander Calder and Diego Giacometti in the production of their sculptures. This work is sold with a copy of the letter from M. Demarquoy describing the conception and realization of the chaise.
