With long tapering blade of flattened-hexagonal section struck with a series of letters and decorative marks within the narrow fuller on both sides of the forte and the ricasso, plain iron hilt of faceted bars, symmetrical inner- and outer-guard incorporating three up-turned rings, the smallest filled with a pierced sprung-in plate, long vertically recurved quillons, faceted globular pommel, and later moulded wire-bound grip (wear and pitting)
