Together with two French desk blotters - the first, late 19th century the burr-walnut ground with scrolling pierced brass and painted porcelain oval mounts, decorated with putti, with later insert; the second, early 20th century, probably from Nice, the olive-wood ground inlaid with song birds and penwork decoration, the reverse inscribed 'Nice' -- the largest 13 in. (33 cm.) high (3)
