A Dutch Delft polychrome dish and jug
Late 17th Century
The jug painted to the ovoid body with a peacock between flowering plants, the upright neck with stylised flower stems, frits and chip, 18.7 cm. high; and a lobed dish painted to the centre with a peacock and butterfly amongst flower stems, surrounded by a stylised flower scroll at the wavy well and rim, frits, 34.1 cm. diam. (2)
