A JAPANESE EXPORT PICTORIAL STYLE CABINET
SECOND HALF 17TH CENTURY
The top and sides decorated in shallow relief in gold, silver and red, the front with a landscape scene depicting cockerels, all within nashiji borders, the reverse of the doors also covered in nashiji, enclosing a fitted interior with ten variously sized drawers, on a Dutch ebonized wood stand, second half 17th century
The cabinet 66.5 cm. high x 76 cm. wide x 50.5 cm. deep; overall 142 cm. high
