Including a leaf from an important Bible from the library of St Alban's Abbey [France, probably Paris, c.1320-40], 46 lines in two columns, 297 x 200 mm., with three large initials and two full-length bar borders in burnished gold, blue and pink with ivy-leaf terminals, two ascenders embellished with pen sketches of a bird and a head; a leaf from a Bible, [?England, 13th century], 287 x 193 mm., with text from the Book of Maccabees; a leaf from a Breviary, two columns, [Italy, early 14th century], 337 x 240 mm., with penwork flourishing incorporating birds, dragons and grotesques (small loss at corner); a leaf from a Missal [England, mid-15th century], with initials in burnished gold on blue and pink grounds, 295 x 195 mm.; a leaf from a prayerbook containing part of Psalm 91 [Germany, 15th century]; Together with a printed leaf from [Lactantius Fermianus, Opera, Venice: Johannes de Colonia and Johannes Manthen, 1478] (6)
