A builder's half model of a proposed design for Gold Cup Racer
early 20th Century
built up in two lifts, shaped, sanded and faired to the hull design, with an extreme counter rising up from the stem of the bow to the cockpit and fore deck break, with a long gentle run aft from the deck break. Remnants of red polychome coloring to the bottom. Mounted on painted brown backboard.
