A THREE-PIECE SILVER AND MIXED-METAL TEA SERVICE**
MARK OF DOMINICK & HAFF, NEW YORK, 1879
Comprising: a teapot, covered two-handled sugar bowl and cream jug; each of tapering cylindrical form, on circular base, the hammered surface applied with silver-gilt or copper bamboo stalks, wheat, blooming branches, squirrels, dragonflies, butterflies and lizards, the teapot with ivory insulators, the teapot and sugar bowl covers with open blossom finials, marked under bases
The teapot 3¾ in. high; 26 oz. gross weight (3)
