Inlaid overall with beaded lines, the rectangular top above a roll-top centred by a lozenge and enclosing an interior with fitted drawers and a gilt-tooled red leather-lined writing surface, above two similarly panelled drawers, the sides inlaid conformingly, on square tapering legs with simulated fluting, terminating in block feet, with remains of paper label inscribed 'Marchese LUIGI ANTICI-MATTEI /... De..specchi N.13 p.2/....', another inscribed '50', and with paper inventory label inscribed 'R387'
