THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
The rectangular back with a shaped toprail carved with C-scrolls and rockwork, above a vertical pierced splat, the foliate-carved downswept arms above a padded seat covered in pale blue silk-damask with a central basket of flowers, on reeded square legs joined by stretchers, the splat reshaped
38½ in. (98 cm.) high; 25¼ in. (64 cm.) wide; 23 in. (58¼ in.) deep
