A GROUP OF FOUR CHINESE SNUFF BOTTLES

Comprising a lapis lazuli bottle carved in relief with a fruiting vine, a tree shrew sympathetically carved in an area of white tone, pink quartz stopper; and three chalcedony bottles, one with red stirated tones, carved along the flaw with a bamboo branch, coral inset stopper; another of orange and transluscent white tones, jadeite stopper; and of tall tapering from with stirated grey and lilac tones, carved in relief with twin beast handles and blossoming flowers, matching stopper
The first bottle, 2 3/16in. (5.5cm.) high, stopper (4)
