THIRD QUARTER 18TH CENTURY
The serpentine padded back, scrolled arms, close-nailed seat and squab cushion covered in associated gros and petit point needlework with scenes of animals set in a landscape, on scrolled foliate-carved cabriole legs and cabochon feet, the front seat rail inscribed in blue crayon '598 594', with original scrim and webbing to the underside, the back possibly reshaped
