TWO ARCHAISTIC JADE CARVINGS
Comprising a pendant carved as a bi superimposed atop a gui tablet, the narrow sides carved with archaistic dragon and phoenix heads and scrolling projections, the bi finely incised on either side with scroll designs, the haft pierced for suspension, the stone of greenish-grey tone with russet mottling; the second a carving of an axe, with flared, rounded cutting edge opposite the haft with large circular perforation flanked by finely incised confronted archaistic dragons and a pair of small rectangular flanges on the narrow sides, the stone of grey-green tone with some feathery russet mottling
