EASTERN HAN DYNASTY (25-220)
One with large central knob surrounded by a confronting dragon and tiger, a band of seven various birds and animals separated by nipples, a narrow band of characters, and on the outer rim a band of various creatures including the hare pounding the elixir of life, an elephant, two figures possibly playing touhu, and a seated immortal, all divided by four roundels, with dark silvery grey patina; the knob of the second mirror encircled by three characters alternating with three pairs of zhicao and all separated by nine nipples, within a wide band cast in linear relief with seven figures alternating with nipples, all within various borders below a band of flat-cast figures on the rim, with silver-grey patina and areas of green encrustation
