TWO ALTERED JADE BOTTLE-HORN DRAGON PENDANTS
LATE SHANG/EARLY WESTERN ZHOU DYNASTY, CIRCA 1100 BC
Each flat, thin curved pendant carved on both sides as a crouching bottle horn dragon with large eyes and thick, tightly curled tail, the end opposite the head narrower and tapering to a thin edge, the larger pierced with two biconical holes, the other with only one, both predominantly opaque and of ivory color; together with a small semi-translucent white and pale russet jade bottle horn dragon pendant, late Shang/early Western Zhou dynasty
3 5/8, 3 7/16 and 1 9/16 in. (9.1, 8.7 and 4 cm.) long, one wood box (3)
