The center of the cover decorated in the ping tuo technique with a thin openwork plaque of an official standing next to a table set with a censer and candle holders while surrounded by attendants, all on a terrace against a background of bamboo, within a border of mother-of-pearl diaper repeated on the sides, with brass-mounted rim, interior lacquered red
