Khmer, Angkor Period, 13th century
The elephant-headed deity wearing a short striped dhoti with beaded hems tied in the back, holding a goad in his upper right hand and his tusk and a sweet in his lower hands, a snake wrapped around his torso and adorned with multiple necklaces and bracelets, the trunk curled to his right, his face with the forehead centered by a lotus and flanked by broad ears, the hair in a conical chignon secured with a foliate tiara
