Tibet, 17th/18th century
Seated in royal ease over a small circular double-lotus base with his right foot extending beyond the base's rim, clad in a diaphanous dhoti and scarf draped about his shoulders, adorned with jewelry inlaid with hardstones, his oblong face with a contemplative expression, crowned with a five-pointed tiara surmounted by an elaborate chignon
