Mongolia, Zanabazar Style, 18th Century
Seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base with incised stamens and beaded rims, his hands resting in dhyana mudra and supporting a bowl, clad in a close-fitting robe with incised borders, the rounded face centered by an urna and surmounted by a smooth knop, richly gilt overall, the baseplate gilt and incised with a double-vajra
