Lot Essay

Olga Davenport was friends with Elisabeth Fink. In reference to the present work Frink writes,'Thank you for the cheque which was forwarded finally long after I wrote the P.C. ... you have given me 1 - 10 too much! I meant pounds. So pleased you like it still we had a good 3 weeks sun and now I am trying to get started on a lot of work which has to be finished before we go back again as well as having an exhibition at the end of the year to think about. Hope to see you both very sooon, love Lis' (letter from Elisabeth Frink to Olga Davenport, hand-written and undated).
