SIGNED MIR 'ALI, IRAN, FIRST HALF 16TH CENTURY
Persian manuscript on paper, 4ll. of flowing black nasta'liq surrounded by later gold floral illumination, a triangular panel above and below, that below with the signature of Mir 'Ali, laid down between black and gold rules and minor light blue border within a register of panels of nasta'liq similarly outlined in black and gold and alternated with light blue panels, within further pink and blue outer margins, slight scuffing
Calligraphy 7½ x 3 7/8in. (19.1 x 9.6cm.)
