A pair of German silver ewers and stands
Mark of Johann Joseph Meckel, Augsburg, 1763-67
The ewers part spirally fluted and on oval domed foot with scroll knop, the baluster shaped bodies with scroll handle, the shaped oval dishes with moulded rim, the ewers numbered 5 and 8, the dishes 4 and 7, the ewers marked by the handle, the dishes on the sides
the stands 40.6 cm. wide; the ewers 24 cm. high
