Comprising a dessert spoon, a dessert fork, a dessert knife with later steel blade, a coffee spoon, the handles engraved with the monogram E.B. below an imperial crown, the reverse engraved Uapckoe-Cero (for Tsarskoe Selo) 21 Mai 1890, in original wood case, marked on handles

Lot Essay

Grand Duchess Elena Vladimirovna of Russia (1882-1957), was the daughter of Grand Duke Vladimir Alexandrovich of Russia who was Senior Grand Duke of the House of Romanov during the reign of his nephew, Tsar Nicholas II.
Tsarskoe Selo is a former Russian residence of the imperial family and visiting nobility. It is now part of the town of Pushkin and of the World Heritage Site Saint Petersburg and Related Groups of Monuments.
