Shaped rectangular on stylised hoof feet, with leaf-capped scroll handle, the centre engraved with crest, the underside contemporaneously engraved with scratchweight 9 and the initials E.A, later engraved EA. over Fs.

The armorial and insignia are those of Prince William Augustus, Duke of Cumberland, KG (1721-1765), third son of George III
