LATE 19TH CENTURY, SPURIOUS BLUE INTERLACED L'S MARKS, SIGNED H. POITEVIN
Of baluster form flanked by putti-form handles with acanthus scroll terminals, the body molded and applied with faux drapery panels painted with ladies either receiving or reading a love letter within chased gilt lappet surrounds embellished with ruby, turquoise and white 'jewels', the reverse with a landscape and amatory trophy, on a conforming foot and circular acanthus-molded base, raised on four small feet
