Lot Essay

The Sale Records at Sèvres of 1865 (Registre Vv 7, folio 33 verso no 87, March 1865 and Vv 7, folio 36 verso no 80, June 1865 and Registre Vbb 12, folio 55 verso) record a series of plates assiettes plates fond bleu frise no 25 en or relief paysages des petites vues de France. In 1870 these were delivered to the Grand Ecuyer, The Master of Horses under Napoleon III.
