signed on the foot BAKER, 244, High Holborn LONDON., rack-and-pinion coarse- and fine-focusing, mechanical stage with 'x-y' adjustments, substage condensor, plano-concave mirror, supported on two columns on 'Y'-shaped foot screwed onto wooden tray which slides into the case and with fitted screw slot for Wenham binocular tube, two objectives in signed canisters, ½in. and 2/3in., pull drawer with mostly later accessories and slides; the case with folding brass handle and retaining the original key.
