A ROMAN PALE BLUE BLOWN GLASS MINIATURE PILGRIM FLASK
3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
The circular flattened body with short neck and everted inward-folded rim, two fine applied handles, with golden and opalescent iridescence; and a pale green glass apothecary's phial, with short constricted neck and wide flared rim, the base concave with pontil mark, multicoloured iridescence, circa mid-2nd millennium A.D.
3 1/8 in. (8 cm.) high and 2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high respectively (2)
