NEW KINGDOM, DYNASTY XVIII, CIRCA 1450 B.C.
Inscribed with hieroglyphs in red and black ink with 9 fragmentary columns from spell 1 Bull of the West, with lower part of feet from a vignette above, on the reverse a strip inscribed with part of a htp-di-nsw formula, mounted on paper
8½ x 6½ in. (21.5 x 16.5 cm.)

Collection of William Henry Fox Talbot (1800-1877); and thence by descent to the present owner.
