With lower body on integral base, standing with weight on right leg, her left leg bent at the knee, wearing a diaphanous garment with subtle folds over her torso and buttocks, gathered around her thighs and falling in heavy folds at the front of her legs

European private collection; acquired in the late 19th Century by the present owner's grandfather.
