In 1813 Gillows of Lancaster supplied four related dressing-tables to William Powlett, 2nd Baron Bolton (1782-1850) for Hackwood Park, Hampshire at a cost of 8 16s 6d each. They were sold by the late Viscount Camrose, Hackwood Park, Christie's house sale, 20-22 April 1998, lots 356, 358, 359 and 360.
