"Another standout from this vintage, the Latour retains a deep color and shows little development compared to others of this age. On the nose it is still very powerful, with rich, ripe fruit and a tarry, minerally quality. On the palate the wine was also very ripe and full bodied, with great length." CC, tasted November 2003
