Lot Essay

With Rolex Garantie et Attestation de Chronomètre Officiel dated 26 October 1979, seal, sales tag, Rolex Oyster booklet, original presentation box and outer packaging. Furthermore delivered with copy of an internal company order form for the watch with an attached Rolex receipt dated 31 October 1979, confirming the amount received as CHF1,525.

The present watch is a fine example of the rare reference 1514, distinguished by the bark-finish "Décor Moiré" decoration to its bezel, rendering it a very unique look. It is furthermore preserved in excellent overall condition.
