Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin and Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with leather strap in 1974 and its subsequent sale on 27 May 1974. Furthermore delivered with original Patek Philippe sales tag, International Customer Service tag, Patek Philippe Japan Service Center Registered Card for Guarantee and servicing invoice in Japanese and original fitted grey presentation box.

To the best of our knowledge, the present watch has never been offered in public before. It is furthermore believed to be the only example of this reference with stainless steel bracelet known to exist to date.

Reference 3580A was introduced into the market around 1972 and is the only stainless steel backwound wristwatch ever made by Patek Philippe.
