The square top inlaid and inset with panels of trailing foliage and rocaille with countersunk panels on each corner, probably candle stands, with inlaid daffodils, roses, marigolds and carnations, the central spring release panel enclosing a chequers board, the drawer revealing a backgammon board inlaid with forest scenes depicting a rabbit warren, fox den, grazing stag and recumbent lion, on square chamfered legs with foliate-carved scroll feet
