The Prussian merchant brig Miranda leaving Hong Kong, an American three-master beyond

Although probably British-built and retaining her original name when subsequently sold to German owners, it has not yet been possible to trace the origins of this particular vessel in view of the number of mid-nineteenth century brigs of this same name.
