A GREY CELADON JADE WATERPOT MODELLED AS A WINGED LION, MING DYNASTY OR EARLIER (1368-1644)
the reclining beast with its horned head turned back over its lithe body, carved in low relief with folded wings and fur lines down the centre of its back leading to the scrolling birfurcated tail, an aperture to the creatures back forms the entrance to the hollowing of the body within -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) wide.
