The porcelain Qianlong, the silver 1763
The pear-shaped body painted with peony and bamboo issuing from pierced rockwork among scattered sprays of pomegranate, finger citrus and small flowers, below a shaped underglaze blue border encircling the cylindrical neck, set at one side with scroll handle (minor frittings to the lower handle), the silver with indistinct maker's mark, most probably Johannes Schiotling, Amsterdam, 1763
