Decorated in bright enamels with a central foliate panel of a court lady playing the qin beside a two-drawer cupboard, surrounded in the well by conjoined white enamelled lotus scroll reserved on a diaper ground executed in grisaille, all below shaped floral panels alternately decorated in blue enamel, gilt and iron-red and reserved on a now oxidized antimony ground
