A BACTRIAN COPPER AND LAPIS LAZULI PIN
CIRCA LATE 3RD-EARLY 2ND MILLENNIUM B.C.
The tapering copper pin square in section, with an oval hoop threaded through toward the disk-shaped terminal, carved of lapis lazuli, one side with a seated winged figure, with long plaited tresses and a patterned skirt, the other side with a lion, its head turned back, its tail raised, hatching along the sides of the disk
