A five-piece silver-gilt trompe l'oeil tea and coffee service
mark of Pavel Ovchinnikov, with Imperial warrant, Moscow, 1873, with later control marks
Comprising a baluster shaped coffee-pot, tea-pot and two handled sugar bowl, each with detachable lid, a baluster shaped jug, and an oval swing handled basket, on conforming foot, each with a panel of simulated bast weave around the body, the coffee-pot and tea-pot with ivory insulators, each marked under base
