THE RELIEF GERMAN AND POSSIBLY EARLY 16TH CENTURY, THE FRAME 19TH CENTURY
The central relief on a base with a coat-of-arms, all within a Gothic style frame, inscribed '17.228' and the reverse inscribed 'RM 599' in red chalk and with a paper label printed '1031'
18½ in. (47 cm.) high and 12 in. (30.5 cm.) wide, the relief carving; 44 in. (112 cm.) high and 26½ in. (67.5 cm.) overall
