With gilt twin barrel movement, platform lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance, quarter repeating and striking on two blued steel gongs via two hammers, repeat button in the top, the dial illuminated by two bulbs with electrical contacts running through the base plate, onyx dial, Roman numerals, rose cut diamond-set hands, rectangular case with translucent blue enamel on guilloche background, rose-cut diamond accents to the sides, white enamel strung borders, rectangular onyx hinged handle, on an onyx base, with the original Cartier leather travelling case, containing the electric cord and activating button to illuminate the dial at will, drawer for battery power source in the base, dial signed, movement numbered
