20 monthly parts, 8° (225 x 143mm). 40 etched plates by George Cruikshank. (Short marginal tears in one plate in pt.XIV repaired, one plate in pt.XIX stained, etched title stained at inner gutter, lacking blank pp.527-528, some light even browning, light spotting.) Original printed pink wrappers, uncut, morocco box gilt (wrappers faded, lightly soiled and occasional stains, extremities a little frayed, rear wrapper of pt.VII repaired affecting a few letters of text, small part of upper margin of front cover of pts.XII-XIII excised, wrappers of pt.XIV with some small repairs, wrappers of pt.XX supplied in ?facsimile without advertisments on rear wrapper). Provenance: Edw. Ferraby (inscription on verso of 4 plates, dated 1839); Boston University, College of Liberal Arts Library (bookplate).
