A fine series of plates commemorating the obsequies for ALBERT VII (1559-1621), Archduke of Austria, March 12, 1622. Albert was the nephew and son-in-law of Philip IV of Spain, and from 1596 until his death in 1621 governor of the Netherlands. The text comprises a eulogy by the royal historian Puteanus (the French translation by Philippe Chifflet), and a description of the ceremony and funeral layout.
