Eight engravings by P. SANRY, HERISSET, A. MAISONNEUVE, and A. AVELINE after Juvarra, 247 x 368 mm, with margins. In a cloth slipcase.

The Prince of Piedmont later became Charles Emmanuel III, Duke of Savoy and King of Sardinia. Juvarra had recently been appointed architect to the King, Charles Emmanuel's father, and was largely responsible for the rebuilding of the city of Turin. The plates which depict the entertainments, illuminations, decorations and fireworks include several views of the royal palace.
