Gram Parsons two-sided handwritten lyric sheet, including on one side "Stories We Could Tell" and on the reverse the working lyric for an unpublished original song.This page is from one of Gram's early 70's lyric notebooks, given to his collaborator Rick Gretch upon Gram's passing, and later sold by Gretch's family after his death. One side, written in brown ink, is Gram's slightly modified version of the Everly Brothers hit "Stories We Could Tell" (written by John Sebastian); the other side with the beginnings of an original, unpublished song by Parsons. Gram Parsons lyric manuscripts or handwritten items are exceptionally rare.
